This notice explains what personal information HomeConnect Management (Pvt) Ltd collects through homeconnectlk.com and WhatsApp, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We write it in plain English. If anything is unclear, email info@homeconnectlk.com.

What we collect
We collect only what you type into a form or send us in a message. We never ask for national identity numbers, passport numbers, deeds or other identity documents on this website.

Each form can also record the page you used and campaign tags in the link you followed (for example utm_source), so we know which adverts work. If you tick the optional marketing box, we record that choice.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and arrange viewings.
- To assess, check and market a property you ask us to let or sell.
- To match tenants with landlords and buyers with sellers or developers.
- To send you new listings and project news, only if you tick the marketing box.
Our basis for using it
For enquiries and listings, we use your information to take the steps you ask us to take before a lease or purchase. For marketing messages, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
- The matched landlord or tenant. If you ask about a listed home, we share your name, contact details and requirements with its owner. If you list a home, we share relevant property details with suitable tenants or buyers, never your name, phone number, email or unit number in public.
- John Keells Properties, for project enquiries, so they can arrange your purchase.
- FormSubmit, the service that relays our website forms to our inbox.
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
- Meta (WhatsApp), if you message us on WhatsApp.
- Google Fonts and unpkg, which deliver the fonts and icons on this website and receive your IP address when the page loads.
FormSubmit and Vercel may process your information outside Sri Lanka. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and listing information for 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete it.
Your choices and rights
- Ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Withdraw your marketing consent at any time by replying STOP or emailing info@homeconnectlk.com.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to Sri Lanka’s Data Protection Authority.
Children
We do not knowingly collect information about children under 16.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page.
